We will be joined this year by Gary Carter Jr. Gary has been playing soccer for about 30 years now, 26 of those years have been as a goalkeeper. He played Tier 1 youth soccer and made the jump to Mens' 2nd Division when he was 16, and has been playing there up to this winter where he recently moved to the Masters' division. In the past Gary has been part of a few Mens' "B" Provincial winning teams.
Gary holds his Full Community Coaching certification, and is currently the goalkeeping coach for the King's College men's soccer team, as well as the goalkeeping coach for Dartmouth United, Scotia, Sackville United and Bedford Soccer Clubs.
Gary feels he was lucky to have received great goalkeeper training and tips from his father (Gary Carter Sr) and wants to be able to pass on the skills and knowledge he has of this great game. Gary believes...
"the individuals who choose to perform beneath the crossbar may be cross pitch rivals but belong to a fraternity like no other. "
